As Managing Director, Chirag oversees various aspects of the portfolio including analysis and selection of future development opportunities, financial structuring and new construction/renovation management. Prior to founding Pathfinder, he was with the private equity firm American Securities Capital Partners and at the consultancy McKinsey & Co. in the Corporate Finance & Strategy practice. Chirag received a Bachelor of Science magna cum laude from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
As Managing Director, Rahul oversees multiple aspects of the portfolio including revenue generation strategies, implementation of core operational and Human Resources strategies, analysis and selection of future development opportunities and also oversees interior design for new properties and properties undergoing renovations. Prior to founding Pathfinder, Rahul received a Masters in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Trinity University.
As Vice President, Danielle oversees all sales and marketing efforts at Pathfinder hotels. Her leadership and competitive spirit help foster a sales and guest driven culture at each hotel. In addition to leadership in sales, Danielle is passionate about training and development of team members and spearheads the effort, along with David Rojas, to help Pathfinder develop its team members to their fullest career potential. Prior to joining Pathfinder, Danielle was the Vice-President of Sales at CL Hospitality where she spearheaded the sales efforts of portfolio of hotels in the Midwest. Danielle received a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Hospitality Management from Eastern Illinois University.
David joined Pathfinder in 2012 as the General Manager of the Staybridge Suites NASA/Houston. A year later, he was promoted to his current role as Vice-President. In this role, David ensures guest rooms, guest suites and lobbies at Pathfinder hotels are maintained in pristine fashion and that guests are consistently enjoying an outstanding experiences . David also ensures Pathfinder hotels are operating efficiently & along with Danielle Schneider leads the company’s thorough training & development platform. Prior to joining Pathfinder, David was the Area Operations Manager for Extended Stay Hotels in Houston, Texas.
As the company administrator for Pathfinder, Katie supports individual hotels in executing company-wide initiatives. She ensures the sales, operations, and human resources functions at each hotel are following protocols and best practices. Katie is passionate about Pathfinder remaining true to its cultural values and helps recruit talent which fits the company’s culture and vision. Prior to joining the company, Katie worked for White Lodging. Katie received a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Purdue University, Calumet.
Blake joined Pathfinder in 2011 as a Sales and Service Agent at the Staybridge Suites NASA/Houston. Blake worked at multiple positions within the hotel, finishing out his tenure at the Staybridge Suites as the Front Office Manager in 2013. He was then promoted to the Assistant General Manager of the brand new Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Austin, Texas where he played a key role in the opening as well as daily operations related to running the hotel. In March of 2015, Blake was promoted to his current role as Revenue Manager where he is responsible for both strategic and tactical initiatives related to revenue maximization for all of the hotels within the Pathfinder portfolio.
As Senior Accountant, Kevin oversees the development of the Accounting Team and the various financial aspects of the Pathfinder family of hotels. In this role, Kevin and his team provide both support and information to the hotels and their owners; allowing them to better serve their guests. Prior to joining Pathfinder in 2015, Kevin served as Controller for a family investment office in Austin for many years. Kevin graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Economics in 1996.
As Resource Coordinator, Jessica assists the Talent Manager with all recruiting and development efforts, coordinates new hire documentation, and also provides support for various projects and departments within Pathfinder Development. Prior to joining the company, Jessica received a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. Jessica is excited to join the Pathfinder family and become part of a great team that is committed to providing superior hospitality products and outstanding customer service.
As our Accounting Assistant, Devon coordinates several areas vital to the successful management of our properties, primarily in expense control, payroll processing and accounts payable. Her attention to detail and drive to improve processes makes her a very valuable member of the Pathfinder team. Prior to joining Pathfinder, Devon received a Bachelor of Science in applied mathematics from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. Devon is looking forward to continuing her education in Accounting while she grows professionally with Pathfinder.
Helen previously worked for Pathfinder from 2013-2015, and recently re-joined the Accounting team in July 2017. Her expertise in Accounting and familiarity with the hospitality industry make her a very valuable addition to the team. As our Staff Accountant, she is responsible for overseeing the accounts payable process, the reconciliation of GL accounts, and the month end close process. In addition, she works with our Senior Accountant on preparing accurate financial statements as well as cash management and other initiatives. Helen received a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management while living in China; and during her time away from Pathfinder she completed her certification in Accounting and passed her CPA exam in year 2016.
